can anyone tell me how snap bids work for sororities?

They are given out after preference and before bid day starts. You would have been contacted by the sorority or greek life, offering you a bid to a house. Usually no one knows if you've gotten a snap bid other than you, and a few officers in the house. You might be wondering about COB (continuous open bidding) or informal recruitment. That's different.
