partying
by: curiousdoes every sorority have parties at least couple times a week? i have heard rumors saying some houses only party maybe once a week and was wondering if that is true

I'm gonna be honest and say that tridelt and kappa deff party the most, but that DOES NOT mean that you will not go out if you are in another house. With that being said, if you are in another house you just may not have as many "planned" mixers and parties as tridelt and kappa do a week if that makes sense. EVERY house parties more than once a week besides agd, but who knows that could easily change. If you have sisters who wanna go out with you and go to an open party or bar if you don't already have one planned then the options are endless!

I have friends in agd and I do t say this in a negative way but it's true they only have mixers about 2x a month and it's usually with theta chi, rugby, or the like.
That's not necessarily a bad thing! But if I'm being honest, they party the least
Tridelt, kappa, dg... You'll have mixers 3-4x a WEEK which is a lot for me lol.
My house has AT LEAST 1x a week but usually 2x and sometimes 3x a week.

see heres the thing. I'm in a house that isn't considered to be "top" and honestly we get a lot of hate on here. you say that only top houses party 3-4 times a week, but we constantly have events scheduled as these houses. i have friends in kappa and tridelt and all of us always have a prebar event tuesday and thursday, and parties friday and saturday.
#9by: Here is the truth
The following houses party 3-4X per week: Kappa, Tridelt, DG, Alpha Phi, SDT, Theta, Phi Sig. You don't have to be in a top house to party a lot, trust me.
AEPhi and AZD party a good amount too. GPhi and DphiE party a little bit less but still have an active social calendar. The only one that is a little bit less often is AGD, but they are still new and that could really change if you give that house some time. Just a few years ago Phi Sig was in the same boat and they've come up so don't stress. If you're in a sorority, you'll party.

It's a lot of factors. Pledge classes do make a huge difference if you can all get on the same page. For example, when you DO have a mixer, everyone should show up and be as friendly/social as possible to get to know the frat better, because if they have fun they'll want to hang out again. The social chairs also play a role here because they have to reach out to frat social chairs to arrange the event, so putting someone in that role who has a lot of friends in frats can really help. The fact of the matter is that it is complicated for lower tier houses to party with the likes of Sigma Chi or DKE because unfortunately, the world is shallow. But if you start by just trying to plan more frequent parties with interested houses, it can go from there. Good luck!
