This is actually really common and it's not a big deal. The girls who get hurt during pref are the ones who have three or two houses and then suicide (as in, they only rank one house and don't maximize their options). Typically, even if you only have one house during pref, you're likely to get in. So don't stress!

its totally normal, happens to more girls than you think but theyre embarrassed so they dont say so. happened to me, and i know theres nothing wrong with me physically or as a person and i got into the house i wanted and i love it, so just get excited for the beginning of your time in greek life!

If you make it to pref round at all, even if it's only 1 house, you will most likely receive a bid. The reason for this is because when you pref a house, you are automatically put somewhere on their bid list, so no sorority wants to invite girls to pref at their house if they wouldn't feel comfortable w/them receiving a bid. Even if they're towards the bottom of the bid list, there's still a chance they'd get in to the pledge class, so a sorority has to really like you/want you in their house to invite you to pref. The round where most women get cut/don't receive a bid is the one before pref, because the girls will be picking who they'd ultimately want to join the house/possibly get a bid for pref round. So if you get even one house, relax. It'll most likely work out in your favor.
