by: PSABy the time this first round of recruitment is over, you'll have talked to 2-3 maybe 4 girls from each house out of a total of over 100+. Just because you had an awkward conversation with one girl or didn't click with another does not mean the entire house is representative of an entire chapter. Please be respectful and mindful of that when trying to say negative comments about other chapters

Agree with this. It's also important to bear in mind that you're really talking to a small percentage of an entire sorority during rush, so you should really be observant and look around while you're there to see what the house is like as a whole, how they interact with one another, etc.

Any chapter is like a microcosm (sp??) of life----you'll have outgoing girls, shy girls, girls who go out every night, girls who don't, girls whose life centers around that sorority, girls who have tons of other extracurriculars, girls who can talk with a brick wall and make it interesting and those who generally are more socially awkward. If you have a few not so great convos, hopefully you'll still give that house a chance and next time get matched up with people you click with better!

Yes this is so accurate. Also remember that some girls might be nervous and not great at talking so writing off the whole house as "awkward" just isn't accurate.
