Very unimpressed by the above replies. This is what discourages PNMs from feeling comfortable during rush or wanting to rush. The original poster is likely upset by impressions she got from reading posts on this website, and being rude is completely uncalled for. I strongly encourage girls who want to rush to stay off this site, because the vast majority of posters on here are cruel and create a false, negative stereotype of greek life. Try to go through Rush with an open mind and you will end up where you belong.

First off- if you're rushing hoping to get into 1 of those 4 houses than good luck cuz almost EVERY other girl rushing has that close minded thought of "I need to be in a top tier house"

Second- no, not everyone in those houses is pretty and skinny. It's not like that in ANY house.

Third- while I'm sure looks can factor into a decision for some houses, you should ultimately choose a house where you feel comfortable not where you feel like you have to be/look perfect all the time. If that's not what you're looking for than maybe you want to reevaluate why you're rushing.

The stuff you read on this site is blown way out of proportion. Dpnt worry about your looks and just go where you're happiest. :)
