out of state

Hi I'm going to Syracuse and plan to rush. However being from out of state, Kansas, I fell as though I may be at a disadvantage is this true?

Most people are from New York, NJ or Mass so you won't have as much to talk about And some houses are a straight up long island microcosm that won't make any sense to you at all.

no. You will be fine. Just try to go with the flow and try to relate to the girls you talk to but ALWAYS be yourself

Honestly dealing with the monotony of rush so many times, you being from Kansas automatically makes you more interesting then a lot of people. The amount of NJ, NY, Mass guys/girls that go through it make for repetitive discussions or no conversation at all. Use you being from kansas as your advantage. Talk about why you got out of state, where your friends ended up, etc. Its a brave move to leave home and go to school so far away and people will take note of that
