PNMS: If you're looking at GreekRank for guidance on which house is right for you, you're not looking in the right spot. What you'll see on here is extremely competitive sorority women bashing other houses and favoriting their own in the hopes that you'll choose their house.

Here is what you need to ask yourself as you go through recruitment:
1. WHY are you looking to join a sorority?
- Are you looking for girls to go to the bars with you? Are you looking for the girls whose shoulders you cry on when you and your bf get into a fight? Are you looking for future networking connections to advance your career? Etc.
2. What attributes can/do YOU contribute to a sorority?
- Are you a leader? Do you have experience with charities and philanthropies? Are you outgoing/friendly? Etc.
3. What do you WANT from a sorority/sisterhood?
- Diversity, intelligence, popularity, parties, new friends, home away from home, etc.

When you talk to girls during recruitment, don't just go by which house is the prettiest, which one has the prettiest girls, or whatever. Answer those 3 questions and when you talk to sisters in different houses, see which chapter's values and ideals line up with yours.

Keep this in mind while you rush and you will find the house that's right for you. Ignore bullsiht rankings/tiers. I would rather be bottom of the bottom and HAPPY vs. top of the top and miserable (that is not insinuating girls at the top aren't happy!!). Good luck, PNMs! We're excited to meet you :)
