From my experience, and I ended up not joining a sorority at all so you cannot say i'm defending any house, quite frankly if you have not seen the way you "sisters" act on here its sad. When i was going through rush the girls i talked to in the "top tier" were more worried about where i came from and whether or not my hair was naturally curly, not what my aspirations were & i saw that the stereotypes were real because the girls who got chosen from my Rho Gamma group definitely fit the bill . So its sad to see the other girls crying or drop the whole thing completely just because they didn't make "top tier". I don't think there is a "better" sorority it is just based off of what you want and are looking for! I will be trying again next year in hopes that the pettiness comes to an end, no one should settle or go off of what others tell you.
