PSA on DPhiE and COB

Look, I’m not a dphie but I did pref them along with Theta a couple of years ago and have friends in the house.

I’m seeing a lot of posts about COB and tbh, if a house has open spots right now, you have the tiniest chance of getting one. My house had a couple spots after rush once and they went to friends who didn’t even rush.

My point is that instead of being sad you aren’t in a sorority, get a group together snd cob to dphie. You’ll change the house for good in so many ways. Not saying they’re bad by any means but one PC can make a huge difference in a house.

Just came here to say that your New Member class is what will make or break your sorority experience, not so much the older girls. One good class is all it takes, think what all of you who are hungry to be in a sorority could do for each other together.

There is too much false attention on "reputation" and "tiers" during recruitment. In reality, NOBODY CARES! Girls from every house date guys in every house. Girls in every house go to formals with guys in every house. Girls in every house are friends with girls in every house. DPhiE is almost certainly just like every other chapter on campus---there are outgoing girls, quieter girls, partiers, studiers, members who live for sorority life and others who are involved in a ton of other things on campus and not as involved with the chapter. It is a shame for anyone to miss out on greek life because they have (totally incorrect) preconceived notions about a certain chapter.
