NO as long as you have 2.5 or above it you are not going to get cut for GPA.

Confirm with your Rho Gamma but 2.5 is the minimum for all houses for new members unless something has changed. Chapters may have higher GPA standards for actives.

Wrong. While anyone with a 2.5 can rush, individual chapters may have higher thresholds for GPA. My chapter cuts anyone below 2.7 after round 1. No matter what. There are no loopholes. It's a national rule for my sorority. Also, if you GPA is THAT low.....you might be better served to study and get your grades up rather than join a sorority. I can tell you my GPA TAAAAAANKED the semester I was a new member.

Name the house that cuts girls if they don't have a 2.7. Don't believe it.

GPA alone is not a major factor- if you gave nothing else going for you and a low GPA, then it may be the difference.

Do they use high school gpa or first semester gpa. And will having a 4.0 Cuse gpa help me stand out or no

They use your Syracuse GPA

Congrats on your 4.0! Realistically, a 4.0 means nothing at Cuse---this isn't the South. Only in the VERY VERY rare circumstance when two PNMS are literally 'equal' on all fronts except one has a higher GPA have I seen it matter.
