Letter of Recommendation
by: .I'm planning on rushing next semester. Is it helpful to get letters of recommendation from women from each sorority, or do they not care about that here? I know it is a big deal at southern schools, but I don't know if it matters at Syracuse.

You definitely do NOT need them. Unless it's from an alum of one of the actual chapters at Cuse---and even that doesn't really matter because it's the members who actually pick their new class, not alums or the advisors. Even legacies aren't really given a huge leg up anymore. It's all about being more equitable so every girl coming through has a fair and equal shot.
