Why do people hate the bottom tier sororities?

Not naming which one is my favorite since I'll be accused of self ranking but tbh, I like this house better than higher ranked houses, but people on GR act like they're the worst. Why does everyone dislike the bottom houses?

It’s not so much that people dislike any sorority at all. On GR, they just want everyone to like their sorority more. And if that means anonymously hating on other houses, that will happen.

Greek rank is BS. Day to day nobody is paying attention to who is in what house, really. Think of it this way—do you want to be known by the letters of your chapter? Or do you want to be known by the women in it? If you feel a connection with any house, follow it. These are the people you will live with and be friends with long after college. You want to be able to be your real self and be seen and loved for who you are!
