Ranking the houses

PNMs rank the houses in order from favorite to least favorite. Houses make their invitation lists of PNMs they are inviting back - those not invited back are dropped from that house. Panhellenic then creates PNM invite lists for the next round based on matching the house a PNM ranks to the houses where a PNMs is invited back

And becuase panhellenic wants PNMs to go to as many houses as possible for each round, if you rank a house low, you can still get them back for the next round if houses you ranked higher did not invite you back – if that makes sense. This happens to pretty much everyone by the way.
So just because you rank a house low does not mean you won't have to go back to them in the next round. It's really only houses that get to cut - unless you're one of the very very few PNMs that gets invited back eveywhere.
