rush as sophomore

is it true that some houses will drop you during rush cause you’re a sophomore?? if so what houses normally give bids to sophomores and does having friends in a house help you get a bid??

Sororities all take some sophomores, especially if you have friends in a house.

Most houses do except top 5 houses choose 1 or 2 or top 3 houses(aphi kappa tridelt) dont at all

This is just wrong. Less sophomores, for sure, but not none. Aphi, KKG, TriDelt & DG all are open to taking sophomores, but they usually have connections.

nobody is gonna drop you because you're a sophomore. Yes if you're older than that because it isn't worth it to take members who aren't going to be around a while. It helps to know people in a house but if you don't know anyone don't worry. be yourself and be enthusiastic and kind to everyone and you will be fine.
