Recent PNM Perspective

Really they all seemed like great houses. Every sorority did an excellent job making us feel welcome and their effort and hours of preparation showed.
I'm glad I wasn't on GR before or during rush because the negative calling out of sororities is such a bad look for sorority life over all. And honestly, any post putting down another sorority looks worse on the poster than on the sorority they're posting about.
In terms of ranks, I can post from my own perspective and that of the PNMs I interacted with. So I won't call this the definitive rank, just my impression and that of many other girls I rushed with:
Top:
Kappa/Alpha Phi: These were most desired by what would be considered hot/popular girls. I'd say Kappa also attracted those with stand out personalities, and Alpha Phi maybe more girls that have the Instagram model vibe.
Tri Delta/DG: There was a lot of overlap on pref between these two. Tri Delta lost girls to DG and DG lost girls to Tri Delta. Maybe Tri Delta ranks slightly higher than DG, but if so, it wasn't that noticeable during rush.
Low Top:
Phi Sigma Sigma & SDT Attracted different types of girls, but seemed equally desired by PNMs.
Upper Mid (in no order, because going through rush, there was really no vibe that ranked one above or below the other. I see this heatedly contested on GR, but not sure the girls going through rush felt that at all. What we did pick up on was that their was broad mix of girls in each of those houses, so they also attracted a broad mix of girls):
Gamma Phi, AXO, AEPhi
Mid: (their vibe was kinda like, "Don't really care for the sorority girl stereotype? Cool, then we could be the home for you.")
Theta
AXID
Then
AGD & Dphie Both these houses seemed to have strong sisterhoods and that they genuinely liked each other. Plenty of fun & pretty girls in each house.

lmao in WHAT WORLD are they most similar to phi sig? its been established phi sig is above them, basically a second but different dg

I can see this ranking being valid also. I put Tri Delta & DG together because on pref, several people I know were struggling to decide between these two. Of course, I didn’t meet everyone going through rush, so maybe there are more people view DG & Phi Sig as Equivalent.
As for SDT being with AXO & Gamma Phi and not Phi Sig, I guess that is possible, too. My impression was AXO, Gamma Phi & AEphi felt similar, with nuanced differences, so that’s why I grouped them together. On pref, girls seemed to be deciding between 3, also.
As I said, I was only sharing my impression going through rush. Not trying to speak for every PNM or troll or promote any specific house. Rush was great experience and I hope the Panhellenic love I felt going through the process continues.

SDT got great girls this year but unlike Phi Sig they secured their girls from camp so there’s not any real competitiveness about it. It’s hard to call them equal. Anyway they should be moved down several spots now due to their extreme hazing scandal which is currently being investigated…

I was a PNM as well and as a whole my friends and I would mostly agree with your review! I do think DG was more similar to phi sig to me but honestly all of those top houses it seemed there were many people preffing at different combinations of them. AXiD felt a little higher to me than theta (theta felt more non-stereotypical sorority) but also that was just my friends' and my opinion. overall all of the sororities seemed to have amazing people!!!

If anything Theta is a little above- they have been one of the most popular sororities during rush for several years in a row while AXiD has been floundering

what theta??? you are not at all "slightly above" axid you are the top of the bottom tier? you only take weird and quirky girls which is fine but you are not on axid level

Finally a post with ranks/explanations that actually make sense and reflect recruitment perspectives this year. There are a lot of trolls and the artificial rank inflation of certain sororities on here, particularly one that I will not name, has been worse than usual lately

What? My post said Tri Delta was slightly above DG?
Anyway, my post was just my impression going through rush. And I understand and accept that others may see the sororities differently.
