What are the sorority fees at cuse and is there ever any help with paying fees if they aren’t affordable?

Also obviously I know sororities tend to judge based on looks but will they judge on finances… honestly just looking for a truthful explination of what the girls at cuse judge you based on when your a PNM! Please give any advice aswell

For fees, etc contact the Syracuse Panhellenic office. I don’t know of any scholarships but most houses have financing plans for dues.

In terms of what you are judged on, I would say do not worry about what you can’t control. Be confident and friendly and you will find a good fit. It doesn’t really matter that much what house you’re in.

Sororities have legitimate expenses to keep their houses up and their chapters functioning. It can be expensive. Just like joining any organization, if you can't afford it, you may have to get a job or reconsider. I don't want to sound elitist. But, no one is going to get a "free ride". If you can't pay your dues you will be put on social probation and restricted from the fun stuff so it doesn't make much sense to go through that aggravation. As for selecting members, I have never heard discussion about whether someone can afford it. It is assumed that pnms know the costs and have decided they can afford it if they are going through recruitment. Panhel will have info about what you can expect it to cost. Be sure to add in for "extras" like tshirts and gifts for Littles etc.

hi! im in a sorority at cuse! :) i dont know the fess for any house except my own but I believe they range from $800-1000. And no, girls will not judge you on finances! I wouldn't worry about finances until you're in a house - my house personally makes sure everyone has a way to pay, and is very accommodating to people who don't have a lump of cash to hand over whenever (so most of us lol)
