It varies by house but generally it’s competitive, esp since some houses may only have a few spots

It’s definitely easier if you know people in a particular house. Some sororities have spaces available but don’t publicly announce COB. The best way in is through people you already know who are in a srat. But barring that, COB with houses that have announced they are having it is usually much more chill than formal rush.
