gphi didn’t give me a bid
by: sadpnmi had a really good connection with gphi and i literally cried everytime speaking to them but they didn’t give me a bid. now i see here that they had to take so many snap bids and i’m actually so upset and idk why they didn’t like me.

I am in a position to know that absolutely NO rho gamma told you to come to anyone but them or Panhellenic since that is what they are for, and they would certainly NEVER, EVER advise you to come to greek rank, and no amount of insisting or pretending to be other pnms who heard the same thing will make that true
Also, if you are suddenly now must “assuming” that Gphi might have given out snaps, why would you come on here and emphatically say that they did in your original post?

thank you! i truly hope that they feel the same as me next year bc i was truly happiest when speaking to them. they had the truest bond i had seen through any of my houses and it makes me sad that they didnt want me when i had emotional connections with multiple members

If you went to pref and you put Gphi first.....you would have gotten a bid before they would have had to offer snap bids. A chapter has to exhaust matching with their bid list first before giving snaps...everyone who attends pref is somewhere on the bid list. So, either this is a troll post....or it is proof that Gphi didn't do snaps b/c they didn't reach your ranking on the bid list b/c matching was complete "above" you.

I think the OP just meant in general gphi didn’t ask them back, they didn’t say they preffed there or anything? Gphi did do snaps my roommate is in it

Sororities take recruitment seriously. They are able to see who they dropped the previous year during recruitment. They can see you dropped out too or got a bid elsewhere and didn’t take it. Rerushing rarely works out in your favor unless you have connections in a specific house you want. If gphi didn’t feel you were a good fit for their house they are not going to give you a bid next year, they keep records. It’s not personal, they just didn’t see you in their sorority. Speaking from personal experience as someone who rushed twice.

yes sadly i cant rush again until next year because i received a bid. i didnt attend bid day for that house bc i knew i wasnt going to be happy there and truly couldnt see my self there.
