Question about lower tier houses

Ranks r based on how popular houses r (aka how badly people wanna join their house) so bc those r less popular they’re at the bottom

Lower tier houses aren’t terrible, they’re just not as good at recruitment or as popular with PNMs. They often don’t have as strong a social schedule as top houses, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have a great sisterhood there. In fact, that is where they shine.

Gphi is also lower tier

Bluntly, if you are ranking things than something has to be first and something has to be last. It's stupid and what people has said about in 'real life' ranking not mattering---that's generally true. With recruitment 'top' houses DO cut more because more PNMs rank them high, so odds are way better that people won't drop them. They can be more selective with numbers. 'Lower' houses have to invite more PNMs back b/c there is historically a higher liklihood that PNMs will choose a different house. It's to balance out odds that all chapters will make quota. But--unfortunately--a ton of PNMs get caught up in alleged rankings and "reputations" and think only like 4 chapters are worthy. It is SO important to remain open minded and show the same interest and enthusiasm in EVERY conversation. Give everyone a shot and go with where you feel is the best fit. Not where others think is cool or where you'll have more 'clout.' Trust me, if you only make choices based on that you're going to be disappointed at some point---you'll either get dropped and have no fall backs b/c you treated them like sh&t and they dropped you...or you do get a bid and later realize you have nothing in common with the sisters. The 4 chapters the OP listed are AMAZING sisterhoods, each in their own way! Just like every other house. I had a top house and a lower mid that I preffed. I CHOSE the lower house! You will have a wonderful experience no matter where you end up. And you have been odds of ending up SOMEWHERE if you stay open and positve during each round.
