Coming from someone who has disaffiliated, it has been unfortunate so see my Yik yak being filled with negative lies about every sorority on this campus. Do not take anything you read on there or on here to heart because none of it is true, about any house. The lies and rumors that are spread anonymously on these platforms does not represent Greek life in a good light. In almost every chapter there are girls who are truly mean and have nothing better to do than bring other girls and chapter down because of their own insecurities about themselves and their houses. IGNORE IT ALL AND GO INTO RECRUITMENT WITH AN OPEN MIND AND NO PRECONCEIVED IDEAS ABOUT WHAT YOU THINK YOU WANT.
If you have questions, ask your rho gammas! That’s why they’re there! But please, for the love of god, don’t go into this experience with the expectation of being better than one another because that is not at all what this is about and if you think it is, you’re doing it for the wrong reasons.

Bump! Important. PNMs this is about finding your people. Go in w/an open mind and don’t focus on superficial BS. No one cares about “rankings”, once you’re a part of Greek community. Everyone (most) parties and has friends in different houses. If your goal is to feel “superior” then you will be missing out on a real, genuine sisterhood.
