Which sorority has the smallest time commitment
by: HelpI really prioritize my academics and have a time consuming extracurricular that I’m very dedicated to. I’ve always wanted to rush and love the idea of being in a sorority— and ideally my “sisters” would support my dedications and passions. But it sounds like most of them expect you to prioritize the sorority. So basically I’m wondering which one(s) would be the most flexible/least time consuming?

It’s hard but I’m a junior and have a 4.0 in a STEM major and am involved in extracurriculars as well as my house. If you’re organized, you can totally do it in any house. If you’re not, it’s going to be a disaster.
I will also say that it gets much easier after the first year. You won’t feel like you have to attend every single event your house has.

If ur joining a house that hazes (top/upper) it is a much larger time commitment. Most new member meetings are like 2 meetings a week for 2 hours each so it’s not that bad but if ur being hazed and forced to be on call for older members be prepared to be ready to do stuff til 1am every night
