Does Panhellenic ever make exceptions for the gpa requirement ? I believe I may have extenuating circumstances as to why I didn’t meet the gpa requirement

You should ask them. Seriously no one here knows.

Perhaps it is best to concentrate on academics instead of social affiliations. The time commitment required for a new member may have an impact on your ability to improve your grades.

You should rush next year. There is no way you will be able to get your GPA up while pledging in a new member process. If you can’t meet the minimum gpa during a semester you aren’t pledging, I don’t see how you would reach it with all the extra time commitments and meetings. Not trying to be harsh it’s just reality, and being below a 2.8 already disqualifies you from many individual houses GPA requirement.
