I actually noticed APhi and Kappa were the most popular and talked about among PNMs I talked to this rush. Tridelt did a lot better than expected though and I think they’d be this high next year if Kappa stagnates next rush

kappa recovered well in 2021 from some problems in 2020. remains to be seen what happens now that recruitment will pry be in person.

Order is mostly right. I’d probably put Kappa above Tri delt and put Axid above AXO. Even though Axid’s mc is subpar and AXO did pretty well compared to years past, they didn’t see anywhere near the same level of improvement as Theta and all of last year was a huge s show for AXO- they’re constantly losing girls even this year

Tbh I feel like at this point AXID and AXO are equals. axid didn’t do great this year during recruitment and they haven’t been doing good at all in recent years. AXO did pretty good and usually has great MCs but they tend to fall hard to scandals during the year and members are constantly disaffiliating

^ AXiD’s philanthropy hurts them somewhat during recruitment but they actually have really good member retention
AXO’s ongoing drama within the sisterhood hurts them and their retention rates much more than any other chapter….. and let’s remember they got caught for racism which lost them a ton of girls.

AZD is not trending up lol. Tridelt and theta are the only ones with potential to disrupt ranks

Trending up: tridelt, theta, dphie
Steady: phi sig, Gphi, aephi, kappa, aphi
Down: DG, AGD, AZD, AXO

How much did virtual recruitment effect this? I think most houses that have good retention did ok, but Tri Delt did better than DG. Theta did better than Gphi or AXO in virtual recruitment.

Top houses always do better in better but adding Theta to that is so random. Theta usually does ok sometimes even poorly in-person. This virtual year is literally the only time in recent history they’ve trended up so once in-person begins I can see them going back down a bit or staying steady

Kappa did well this year, no doubt, but Tri Delt was liked a lot better among PNMs I know.
