the recruitment dust has settled. real ranks for 2021
by: hey.
now that the craziness of recruitment is over, its much more clear how the rankings have been effected by Zoom recruitment and which houses did well and which didn't. with explanations!
Aphi/Kappa
Tridelt/DG
Phi Sig
Gphi
Theta/AXO/Axid
Dphie
SDT/Aephi
AGD
Kappa and Aphi both did great this year despite people doubting both of them. DG not so much, really underwhelming PC yet again. Tridelt is moving towards a new and more authentic direction with recent PCs, love to see it! Didn't hear much from Phi sig or Gphi, but Theta did amazing and AXO def did better then most expected. Theta could be up there with Gphi if they have another good recruitment. Axid is in trouble, their philanthropy is hurting them so much and they are becoming really irrelevant, prob dropping to bottom tier soon. Dphie improved the most during recruitment this year, SDT and Aephi didn't do great but thats to be expected. AGD is where they always are.

I takes to a lot of PNMS heres my take. Tri delt and Theta had the best recruiting for virtual this year. I can see theta possibly taking Gphi spot next year, only if they become more of a social srat though, which isn’t really their vibe but it’ll be interesting to see if they go in that direction and have another great recruitment year. I would argue that phi sig is trending down this year, along with DG. I didn’t hear really any hype around them from PNMs. What I heard was phi sig doesn’t really have their own “niche” other than that they party a lot, so PNMs who wanted to be in a socially outgoing house preferred the other top houses (kappa, tridelt) where they fit in more and found their own unique vibe, over phi sig.

this year theta was the surprise more that tri delt. going into recruitment I heard lots of pnms talking about tri delt along with kappa and aphi. theta came off well in virtual recruitment; interesting to see if they can build on it.
