tips for rush?

I'm a freshman girl and I'm 99% sure I will rush. What are some tips you guys have for rushing at Syracuse? Ex. what to talk about/what not to talk about, what should I wear/not wear, what should I be on the look out for, etc.

And don't say "There's a recruitment guide online, go look at it" because yes, I've looked at it, and there is only so much info that's actually useful.

Also, another important question: how many hours each day do you spend at the houses during rush? I might have an obligation on one of the weekends and I'm pretty sure I can work around it, but if rush is an all-day kind of thing, then I might have a problem.
