^^ No. APhi and DG do not compete for the same kind of women. Their vibe is completely different. APhi is the "mean girl" sorority. Research their standards nationally. Disgusting.

Mine was deleted too but the overlap is usually within 3 main groupings, we don’t

I don’t think it has as much to do with the “tiers” as people are making it out to be. From my own experience and from the experiences of so many other girls I know in greek life, it’s not as superficial as preffing 2 top tier houses because they’re the “best options” because they’re “top” houses, people go where they feel welcome and feel they will fit in. I know many girls who preffed Gphi/Kappa because although in different tiers they have similar vibes of cool/edgy girls, other top houses don’t have that vibe so why would you pref another top house just to do it when you wouldn’t fit in? Also similarly many are bringing up the Aphi/tridelt overlap which also proves true because both are big party houses with similar vibes, regardless of tier. I really can not see kappa/DG/Aphi all competing for the same girls because they are all SO different. People end up where they feel most comfortable and there are outliers of course but for the most part people go into the mindset of rush with “I want to be in a place where I find my people” not “I want to be in a top house”. PNMs reading this please don’t select houses based on their “rankings”, go where you feel you’ll fit in. Here’s my take on who prefs who:
Aphi/tridelt
Kappa/Gphi
DG/phi sig
Phi sig/tri Delt
AXO/DG
AXO/AZD
Theta/azd
SDT/aephi
Dphie/AGD

I kind of see what you mean. I feel like not just some Gphis but some Thetas can have an edgy Kappa girl vibe too. And for sure Aphis and Phi sigs have overlap

I preffed Kappa and Gamma Phi. I ranked Gamma Phi first because it felt like a better fit for me.

I preffed APhi and AXiD. There really isn't a set pattern for this. Everyone is going to have a different journey.

When I rushed I prefed AXO and Tridelt but wanted AXO more based on how my recruitment went. In my group one girl ended up preffing Kappa and APhi though so top houses competing still can happen I think

for example does that mean alpha phi and dg have the same girls at pref? do girls end up having gphi and theta as their last two?
