Does having an older sibling in the same frat matter

Just wondering if my brother was in a fraternity at another school, does that give any sort of edge at Syracuse?

No fraternity, or sorority for that matter likes legacies. I think they have to invite you back but it will be awkward for you. But if your brother went to cuse, thats a different story. Being a brother at another chapter at a different school means nothing.
