as much as people like to rank houses, in the end it's all basically pointless and subjective. the only fair way to really break frats up into tiers is look at which houses people actually choose to be into, which ones are used as fall-backs if they dont get the bids they want, and the ones that take the weird kids that are happy to go anywhere. these groupings also tie in with who parties with who, which is the only thing you can really use to determine who is good and who isn't...who they party with.

houses that guys actually choose:dke, sammy, sig chi, tke, sae, zbt

fall-back or safety houses:psi u, aepi, ato, phi psi, pike, delt

houses that take mostly awkward kids that are happy to be anywhere: sig ep, theta chi, crow, ostrum frats

who is phi delta theta? heard good things but no house, just a colony, and have they even done anything? am i the only confused one?

Alright so for all you freshman looking at this right now, while you definitely should read these, DO NOT decide your plan for rush based on them. Most of these posts come from freshman like you who only see houses through parties are or what they hear. Go through the rush process and see for yourself.

Anyone can post anything slanderous that they can think of about any other fraternity or sorority for that matter, regardless of any truth. Keep an open mind to all houses and good luck during Rush.
