Rushing a star as a sophomore? (informal?)

by: sophomore rush

I rushed during formal recruitment and ended up dropping out because the process was really overwhelming and it ultimately made me not want to join a sorority because i found it to be so superficial. I am thinking about possibly rushing again, can someone explain the pros and cons of informal rush vs. formal recruitment for a sophomore? (idk if this matters at all but i have close friends in at least 6 srats)

The pros is that it’s a lot more chill hence informal the cons is that only one or two houses do it and that changes every single year. A lot of houses really don’t do it and we don’t know how many will do it this year

Yeah fr. It really does vary year to year so it’s hard to say. You could ask FASA

Yeah I agree with the person above. If you think it’s superficial then why are u rushing again?

Honestly I personally think only one house is gonna do it this year and that’s AGD. Dphie has done it in the past but honestly they did really well with numbers this year just like a lot of the other houses so idk if they’d do it. Also the pandemic might affect timing since a lot of srats have stuff to make up in the fall that was not able to happen in the spring
