Is Greek Life Mandatory

I’m planning on transferring to Cuse this year during my sophmore year. Although due to this whole pandemic I won’t be able to attend until spring semester. I’m wondering if joining a fraternity/sorority is even necessary to have a good party life and if being a second semester sophmore is too late to rush.

Honestly while it feels like a lot of campus is involved, its only a small chunk of campus. It definitely has its perks for party life and social life, but not everyone feels they need it to have an awesome time. Do what you want to do! Even if you don't take a bid, you could still rush! It's a good experience!

Unfortunately I think you need a certain number of SU credits before you’re able to rush. I think you have to have completed at least 12. Some houses do informal tho. Talk to FASA
