It can be difficult when you are dropped from your favorite house. I would give the house that wants you a try, you can always drop out of pledging if you don't like the house.

I know it can suck getting dropped from the house u wanted trust me I went through as a freshman and sophomore and my sophomore the house I loved dropped me and then I got a bid from the house I’m in now and honestly as lame as it is I love my house and am blessed that I joined it and wouldn’t have met the amazing women I get your dad but stick with it even if it’s for a week .

Do not drop! This happened to me. I was devastated on bid day. 2 weeks later, I fell in love with my chapter. I would not change for the world!

MANY girls have this same experience. Fact is.... you can grow to love your new sisters. If you want to improve the "image" of your new chapter, then be a leader and make the chapter the best it can be.
Getting your second choice did not mean you were not worthy of a bid....others were simply ahead of you on the bid list. Thankfully, your new sisters saw something in you that put you high on their bid list. I understand mourning the loss of what could have been; however, let that go and focus on what you do have..... new sisters who wanted you! Give them the same opportunity they have shown you. The VAST majority of women who have this experience end up loving their new chapter.
