not "ranks." For PNMs, it means that certain houses historically do "better" at recruitment. So, they have more girls choosing to come back to them round after round. They also are able to invite LESS girls to each round (b/c odds are they'll match more easily). It does NOT mean one house it better than another....it varies years to year based on how strongly the current chapter is at recruitment and what the composition of the PNMs going through is like. It's not really fair to say these are "ranks." Obviously some houses (AXO) are newer so not going to be as polished as recruiting as say Alpha Phi. That doesn't mean they're "worse!"
