frats?
by: cuse
incoming freshmen and all I see on this website is just people arguing over sorority tiers but the post with the descriptions of them was very interesting and would like something similar for the frats. Any insight on the frats at Syracuse, what are top houses, how does rush work, how hard is it to get a bid, I assume every house parties but what makes one house "top". I know some of you are going to say don't listen to any thing on this website but some info before we get there would be helpful.
Thanks

All frats are different and all girls have different preferences. The "top" and "middle" tiers differ by each person and everyone has differing strong opinions on who they prefer. The best thing to do is be social the first semester and get to know those in your classes and around campuses. As a guy, you likely won't get into any frat parties, but just be yourself and don't try too hard to be soemone you're not. They see through that easily. When navigating frats, you'll find guys you vibe with and that's what matters. Most sororities, even top tiers, party with all the frats at one point or another, so just play it cool and see where you fit
