This is going to come across rude, and I don't mean it to, but I wouldn't concern yourself with what sororities are looking for. Obviously you want to put your best foot forward. Make yourself look the best you can and walk in with a smile no matter where you go. But you should really just focus on being yourself. If you try and become the personality that you think any house would want you to be, then you're going to find it hard to actually click with girls once you join up. Be you, and if a house doesn't want you based on that, then screw them and you'll find a house that will want to hang out with the real you. This sounds cliche and everything, but it is the honest truth. Trying to become what you think people want you to be will not ultimately make you happy, ever.

They want you to be genuine. If you take control of the conversation in a normal not bossy/pushy way thats something that people look for. They want to talk about something other then classes and the weather and your outfit. Try and open up and talk about family and jobs and your home friends or cool/ unique traits. things that will show who you really are. These girls are talking to hundreds of girls a day. try and talk about something that will be memorable to them and if they respond well, then you know that the house is for you!
