advice & comments on sophomore rush
by: GDII rushed in the fall and ended up in a sorority I didn't fit in with so I dropped. Did anyone rush as a sophomore or have any advice? I have friends in different houses, but I just wanna make sure my options aren't limited to the chapters who just can't hit quota. how different is it to be in a pledge class with all freshmen as a sophomore?

Honestly, those who go through recruitment for a second time as a sophomore don't tend to have the best luck. Usually the chapters who initially cut you, cut you for a reason and those who kept you, kept you for a reason. If I were honest with you, re-rushing isn't going to be the experience that you want. While yes, people who re rush can get other chapters it tends to be because they know someone. If you want to re-rush do so for the right reasons and give the chapter who might be "under-quota" a shot because it might actually surprise you as something you like. Go to bid day, go to PC meetings and join for the right reasons not the stereotypes.
As far as being in a PC with other freshman it shouldn't be any different.
