possibility of re-rushing?

by:

Hey guys! Right now I'm trying to give my new chapter the best chance possible but I feel like I'm not connecting with the girls. So far (though it hasn't been very long) I don't really feel at home in this chapter. I really want to find a place I love and can be fully committed to throughout college! If it turns out that I'm right, and it doesn't work out, is there a possibility of me re-rushing as a sophomore or will houses not want to take someone who has previously accepted a bid?

I totally understand if you want to drop that chapter that you are in. I would suggest continuing to go to events and meeting other people in your PC. You never know how other people are feeling. I know I didn't feel that connected to my PC until I met my big and her friends and then I felt like I belong. I'd just stick it out because being a sophomore in a chapter you do miss a lot of bonding of what the freshman had and you are starting greek life a whole year later.

Hi! I would definitely stick it out up until initiation, and if you're still not feeling at home and aren't vibing with the other girls in your PC or the PC agove you, then drop. But do not drop prematurely or you might regret it. Rushing as a sophomore is harder and a little awkward so make sure you're 100% sure you want to drop before you do. Good luck!
