how much does gpa matter?

For example, do sororities care about a 2.9 vs a 3.9, or do they just care that you have above a 2.5?

Some houses have cut offs higher than the baseline, so as long as you're over a 3.0 or so they don't care how high it is, it won't help or hurt you

They say it doesn't matter over a 2.5 but it does somewhat. I know a girl who got cut from a lot more houses than her friends first round and we think her gpa had something to do with it because she had like a 2.7 or 2.8. She still ended up in a house she wanted from the start and she's happy there so don't worry too much!

Some houses care over the 2.5 requirement but if they really want you they may overlook it. Also, some houses care more than others!

I think tri delt and AZD care about grades. I know tri delt slashed so many girls during the first round of rush last year because they didn't make the gpa cutoff for their house. And I know AZD has a reputation for having a high gpa
