how hard is it to get a top/middle tier house if you are a sophomore??

Depends on who you know. If all your friends are in a top sorority or mid since they were freshman chances are they won't cut. As a sophomore all about connections for Tri delt, alpha phi and sdt. DG is sometimes less picky as they are extremely less cliquey, same thing with kappa. Hope this helps

both of those houses give girls bids based on character, age isn't a factor.

dont get your hopes up and keep an open mind about bottom tier. you could very well get lucky, but dont go in to it with any expectations since there's a huge chance of getting let down.

Everyone saying you have to know someone is wrong. Me and 8-10 other girls in my PC and the other two houses (all "top" / "middle) I prefed at were sophs who didn't know anything/anyone. Not legacies or anything. And let me tell you this: girls who rushed as sophomores want sophomore littles. We are looking for girls like you to rush! If you fit in with a house your age will not matter.
