If you rush as a sophomore but really do not know anyone in one of the top houses can you still get a bid??

Yes you can get a bid anywhere if you fit in and they like you! 'No house is going to say "oh she's so cool and we could see her fitting in... but she doesn't already know anyone in the chapter so no bid." It is based on so much more than who you know. Go through recruitment and be yourself!
