sophomore rush

It's all circumstantial. If you're a legacy in one house, you may be chosen over a freshman. Also, some houses dirty rush (looking at you tridelt..) so they make take a good amount of sophomores. But it truthfully depends on if you're a good fit in the house.

You're fine. If you have friends in the house that's an advantage at any house but if not, just be yourself, if a house sees you as a fit you'll get a bid. A third of kappas pledge class this year was sophomores. But alpha phi took ZERO sophomores. Also, tri delt doesn't dirty rush.. I could have put tri delt as my first choice after pref round, and I didn't know one girl in the house going into rush, I just saw another house as a better fit for me... and that's how it works for everyone! Houses select who they like, and you select where you're most comfortable, it's a pretty mutual process. Be yourself, you will end up where you belong! Good Luck :)
