greek life is huge at cuse

Cuse Greek Life is honestly pretty huge part of campus, although it is not something you HAVE to be apart of a lot of people still do it. I am currently a rising junior so I know first hand what it is like. There really is no such thing as a "best sorority/frat" they are all different in their own type of way. If you consider "the best frat/sorority" the one's that tend to be the most social/involved then most people would say Delta Gamma, Kappa Kappa Gamma, and Tri Delta for sororities and Delta Kappa Epsilon, Phi Kappa Psi, and Sigma Chi for frats. However, there are many different opinions on what "top tier" is. My best advice for incoming freshman is to go into recruitment/rush is to go in with an open mind and find people you can see yourself being lifelong friends with.

Greek life is HUGE at cuse. tons of huge frat and sorority houses and many philanthropy events throughout the year. Overall, greek life here is very fun and allows you to meet so many new people. Tends to be cliquey and there is of course drama and tension between certain houses.

Philanthropy is huge at Syracuse and all the fraternities and sororities get really competitive and participate in each other's events. It's really easy to be involved with the chapter aside from just parties. Lots of leadership opportunities, Greek life makes the campus smaller-everyone knows someone in a house.

Overall really good. Everyone thinks they are hotter than they are (or at least are on par with a Southern university). Besides that and thinking they have enough philanthropy events, Cuse is a great school for Greek Life

Cuse is crazy

greek life dominates campus. spring rush for freshman which makes it easier to get to know houses. pretty laid back, but still pretty competitive during rush. lot of parties. a good time.
