multicultural greek
by: HuskerWhat are they like, and as a freshman, are they worth joining? My family is Nicaraguan and my parents want me to join the Hispanic one. Or would I be better off with just a regular fraternity?

This is a really tough question to answer because nobody will be able to tell you the difference from experience. To my knowledge, joining a multicultural house is very different. The size is DRAMATICALLY smaller in multicultural houses...as in 9-15 people. A normal fraternity will have 70-110 members. In terms of experiencing what you'd imagine as Greek life, you would want to join an IFC fraternity. The choice is yours and both types of houses will offer you brotherhood and ritual. Good luck.
