They're both really good houses. Both are attractive, smart, and well rounded. Can't go wrong either way.

tru^^ but unless you're a theta legacy then it's harder to get into....Theta loves their legacies!

they only LOVE their legacies bc if a theta legacy is dropped from recruitment OR doesn't get a big, the chapter has to contact the person who wrote their letter of rec and tell them why she didn't get into Theta.

Non-legacy theta here, it's very possible to get in without being a leg or having a previous "connection" to someone in the house(: just have good grades and let your personality shine during recruitment, same as every other house. The rest will happen as it's supposed to

Lots of chapters not just theta have to write to the legacies/letters of rec and let them know why they didn't get in.

Top houses and very hard to get a bid from. Also agree with Tammy that if theta has a lot of incoming legacies this year it will be especially hard to get in.

I just wanted to say that it's important to go in with an open mind. Having favorites during recruitment will probably not help you. Focus on where you feel most comfortable and who invites you back.

Not a Theta Legacy but have two letters of recommendation, 3.9 GPA, and tons of activities/volunteer hours. How good are my chances?

keep in mind that joining a house is supposed to be about whether or not you fit with the girls in the house... maybe you will, but honestly you will not know until you go to each house and get to talk to different girls. if you don't go in with an open mind, most likely you'll be disappointed.
