cut

Is it true that houses will be most likely to cut you if you put your legacy information on the application because they figure you will just go your legacy house?

Houses won't cut you because you're a legacy to another house, it's actually a big deal to get someone else's legacy so if you are a good fit for a different house more so than you are for your legacy house they will want to keep you around!
