recruitment outfits
by: Nervous PNMSo I'm going through recruitment this fall and I wanted to get advice from current sorority girls about what to wear. Do you honestly look at clothes? Are designer labels important? Do you need to look flawless in order to get asked back? Thanks for your help!

Refer to the recruitment page on how to dress, where what you feel most confident in! Where something you can sit anywhere in includin the floor. Also keep length in mind you will be walking up and down stairs and don't want to flash people haha.
To address your other concerns if a house only wants you because you look perfect you probably don't want to be in that house. So no, designer dresses and looking perfect do not help you get invited back. You want to look put together don't get me wrong but it's more important to be yourself! Hope that helps!!

Just wear something that makes you feel confident and pretty! When you wear clothes that make you feel that way it will translate into your conversations. Girls rushing you want to see a genuine person who is confident of themselves and truly happy, not someone who is only concerned with their looks and what type of clothes they wear. Good luck!

Honestly, we probably pay more attention to how you look in a dress than who it's made by. If it fits you well and is ironed/steamed that tells me more about you than if it were Lily or something like that. As far as accessories and shoes, it's so easy to buy knock offs now that people don't really pay attention to the brand, as long as nothing has nicks or scuffs in it, I would just think you were well put together and confident rather than thinking about how rich you were.

Brands don't matter. It is important to look like you really tried to look your best getting ready that morning because it shows you care but rush is hot, humid and exhausting and we all know it. So don't worry if you sweat off your makeup or you're a little wrinkled at the end of the day, we feel your struggle.
