What is the lowest GPA they will truly consider? Is 3.5 going to make the cut?

So will they think a 3.65 is good?

I wouldn't say, "Good" is the right word. You will be competing with girls who have 4.0 and 4.5 weighted so just keep that in mind. Also, they will probably take the high school you attended into consideration if they are really spilt. If you went to a high school with a really hard academics they might be like good for her, but if your school is known as an easy school (if you live in nebraska) they might be like oh...

So all of the houses have the same minimum or do they vary? Can anyone tell me what each of the top tier houses are looking for as far as gpa?
Thx

they're all different- some houses have a minimum cut off, some you have to have a higher GPA than their last semester's GPA, some make exceptions for legacies and others don't. membership criteria isn't openly shared by each house, but honestly, if you're freaking out about your GPA this much, you'll probably be cut early by at least a few

I have a 3.55. Just wondering if that will make the highest cut with top houses. Not a legacy...but went to a private school where the curriculum is rigorous.

3.5 is the highest cut any sorority has and usually that's APhi, ChiO, GPhi. All the top tier houses (APhi, GPhi, Theta, DG) won't make GPA exceptions unless it's for legacies and even that's a stretch.

I heard Kappa put in a 3.5 minimum with last year's recruitment? True/not true? Will they be doing that this year?

What if you want to get into aphi, but you have a 3.4 HS gpa? My first year of college gpa is 4.0. Which one will they take into consideration?

Don't get to caught up into getting into one house, keep an open mind. Your chances of getting into the one house you think you want are slim, and that goes for everyone rushing.

If you have a GPA for college, your HS one goes out the window. 4.0 for college courses is awesome so you'll probably be fine anywhere you want to go

Are you referring to your GPA on an unweighted 4 point scale?
