I had over a 4.0 (with honors classes), a 30 on my ACT, and lots of activities including a varsity sport. However, I am pretty shy and am having a really hard time talking to people because I am so nervous. Will I get into a house?

How would anyone know? We're not fortune tellers. Go through recruitment and find out. Practice your conversational skills and get over being nervous.

Just do it. Fraternities are about a social bond between guys. You've gotta be able to talk to and meet guys if you want to join 70-100 chapters.

I was exactly the same way! The first few conversations were very awkward but eventually you feel more comfortable and less nervous! I would say you definitely have a good chance as long as you keep an open mind about all the different chapters. If you give them a chance I'm sure they will give you one too! Good luck!
