letters of recommendation

How important are letters of recommendation to sororities? And does it help/hurt to have more than one sent to a house?

It's helpful but in no way will guarantee you to be invited back or given a bid. You're chosen based on your application and interactions with the women in each house. I'd say over three is overkill unless you're a legacy with multiple legacy makers.
