What goes into rankings?

Lots of people posting rankings of various houses, most of which have the same houses in the same general tiers (a phi top, chi o mid, aoII bottom). What exactly makes a sorority top and another bottom?

Honestly, I think it depends on individual experiences. Everyone has different experiences with every sorority, and the rankings are usually based on how well a student gets along with the girls. The same thing applies to frats.

hard disagree. maybe plays into it, but generally “top” houses are not the people that are easy to work with on a group project. classic rankings are often driven by beauty standards for women, social status, and desirability. if a sorority is academically successful they get an extra boost. perceived ranks also usually correlate to the number of frats that will do things with your sorority. generalizing, theta can have any frat, vs tri delt has only a few options
