Fraternity recruitment is very informal. I would suggest contacting the fraternities you're interested in to let them know about your situation. If there is mutual interest, hopefully you can meet sometime before or after basic training. Fraternities start recruitment before high school seniors graduate, and several of them continue to recruit a couple weeks into the school year. You can also arrange to meet with fraternities when you come for New Student Enrollment.
